Warning signs
- The car is hard to start, especially in the morning
- The battery drains after a few days of standing
- Battery warning light comes on while driving
- Several warning lights come on at once along with strange error messages
Possible causes
- Worn-out battery
- The alternator isn't charging enough
- A consumer stays on while the vehicle is parked (quiescent current drain)
- Poor contact at the ground or on the cables
Many newer Mercedes models also have an auxiliary battery. When it weakens, errors appear that at first glance have nothing to do with the battery.
How we work
We measure the battery condition, charging voltage and quiescent current, and track down the consumer that drains the battery. A new battery is then registered in the vehicle so the charging system works correctly.
